This is a great wee walking route around the countryside surrounding Kinghorn Loch.
The route combines a off the beaten path stroll with a little bit of gentle road walking.
This route begins in the car park at Kinghorn Loch and heads out towards Roddenbraes. The route follows the edge of the fields and makes for some pleasant but muddy walking.
The route eventually hits a farm track which you will follow until you reach a minor road which loops you around back towards the loch itself. The countryside is stunning in spring and summer but it is also nice to walk through when the weather is frosty. The road gradually returns you to the starting point.
My father-in-law shared this route with me when I first moved to Fife and is one of many I am going to share with you all.
This walk is not suitable for those with limited walking abilities.
