The coastal town of Leven offers many good routes for the walker.
This walking route takes you from the Fife coastal path inland through the countryside and then through the town itself.
The route begins and ends in the shore front car park. There is plenty of parking. The route firstly takes you along the Fife Coastal Path before turning off inland towards Silverburn House. You pass the grounds of the house and head North towards Blacketyside Farm. Take care are there are often farm vehicles along this section of the route.
Leaving Blacketyside you then head to Coldtream Farm before following the Scoonie Burn take guides you through Letham Glen Park ( http://www.parksandgardens.org/places-and-people/site/8883). The park is a wonderful location for kids to explore and ideal for picnics in the summer months.
Leaving the park you walk through the town towards the shoreline before arriving back at the your start point in the car park.
