The Binn is a small hill that dominates the skyline of Burntisland and offers some spectacular views across the Firth of Forth on a clear day.
This circular walking route takes in the town itself and the hill itself.
This route begins and ends in the town's main car park and makes its way through the town towards the start of the hill trail. The track is fairly even but not suitable for those who have limited walking ability. It can be very muddy in the wetter weather so be prepared.
The track makes it gently way up the hill to it's 191m peak. For the return journey you can either go back the way you came or make your way along the ridge towards the East and descend the hill back down in to the town making your way back to the car park.
Burntisland has plenty of places to find refreshments and toilets.
Route shared with Walk Fife by Thomas Duffy.
